Training programme

Module 1: Mastering public speaking.

  • The overall objective is public speaking, non-verbal language versus verbal language

  • How to manage your stress, your image, your voice and the message you want to put across (taking the environment into account to encourage clear, controlled public speaking, taming the camera's critical eye through practical exercises)

  • Learning to direct yourself and others

  • Unlearning language tics

 

1.Integrating the basic rule of public speaking with the “rule of 3 Vs”:

  • Visual communication

  • Vocal communication

  • Verbal communication
     

2.   Practical exercises to assess fluency "at first sight" and isolating blockages.

  • Exercises with and without 'affects'

  • Personal development, soft skills

 

Module 2: The Art of pitching your project.

  • Defining the Pitch, isolating and explaining its "Why".

  • Structure of an effective pitch.

  • 6-point methodology.

  • Dos and donts.

  • Exercises on pitching an idea / elevator pitch.

  • Using the K.I.S.S. technique

 

Module 3: On-camera training.

  • Posture

  • Breathing

  • Look

  • Articulation

  • Body language

  • Relationship, link with others

  • Involuntary gestures to avoid, tics, etc.

  • Deciphering images by watching practical filmed exercises
